I live in London and act as a consultant to a group of property investors compiling reports on international locations. This entails frequent trips abroad, predominantly to continental Europe, which I combine with travel writing.

I served in the Royal Air Force as an Intelligence Analyst for nine years during which time I saw service in Cyprus and Germany as well as various parts of the UK, and an exchange trip to the US. While in the RAF I enjoyed taking part in many recreational activities including travel and gliding, which I regularly wrote about in service magazines, and they remain my keen interests today.

On leaving the RAF I travelled around Australia for six months with my girlfriend Steph, who is now my wife. Besides cycling, gliding and travel, my other interests are photography and art.
